Restricted Data

Using the L.A.FANS Restricted Data

Researchers and Project Team members may use the data only for the time period specfied on the Restricted Use Data Agreement, or, if no dates are specified, for 3 years from the day the Data is sent.

As per the Restricted Data Use Agreement, the Restricted Data Investigator must submit an annual report for each year the agreement is active.

In the event that a project is extended, Restricted Data users have the option to apply for an one time extension of their contract for an additional three years.

When the end date of the Agreement is reached, Restricted Data Users must return the data to RAND along with an End of Contract form.
